Here’s a friendly reminder to lock your car when you park it at a trailhead. You just never know what’ll come looking for left-behind trail snacks as you’re hiking. A viral video from last month showed a black bear in Gatlinburg, Tennessee (either in or near Great Smokey Mountains National Park) working its way down a line of parked cars, trying to open the door and get in.

The video shows the bear’s first attempt to get into a car—specifically, a Mercedes—but the doors were locked. A person in the background yells obscenities as the bear tries and fails to get into his vehicle. And then the bear’s next attempt is successful, and that car’s owner isn’t happy either.
