The Camden Fire Department had to abort a drone mission after a barred owl became fascinated by the strange flying object. The drone captured footage of the owl staring it down.

“Camden Fire Department UAV Pilots aborted a recent night time mission after observing an owl following their DJI M30T,” reads the YouTube caption sharing the footage. “Owls frequently attack drones, perceiving them as territorial threats, predators, or prey, often resulting in damaged or downed aircraft.”

Thankfully, neither owl nor drone was injured in this funny encounter.
