A fly fisherman was in the right place at the right time to record a bear chasing a moose calf in a pond somewhere in Alaska. The popular video shows a moose mom and her calf run into the pond with a bear following behind. The bear forces the moose mom out of the water, but it continues to chase a calf. Eventually, both animals run offscreen.

Bc_fly_fishing shared the footage to Instagram, asking his online community if they thought the bear was a brown bear or a black bear with brown fur, which is a thing. Most people in the comments section think it’s a brown bear.
