A doorbell camera captured some unexpected visitors to a Naples, Florida front porch—an entire family of black bears. First, the footage shows the bears exploring the front yard; one even has its paws up on a tree. Then, all four bears run toward the home’s front porch, where they sniff around curiously before heading back into the front yard.

Meanwhile, a pedestrian starts to walk past the home, until he or she realizes there are a bunch of bears across the street. That person promptly turns around and heads the other way.
Matt Devitt, a WINK news chief meteorologist in southwest Florida, shared the video, which a WINK News viewer submitted.
“[You] never know what you’ll see out your door in Florida!” Devitt wrote in his Instagram post sharing the viewer’s doorbell cam.

Poor sweet babies. Their habitat is becoming next to nothing and they have nowhere to hunt for food. It’s not their fault, this makes me very sad. Yet there will be those who think them “invasive” when in fact it is they who are the invasive species.
