Imagine you’re hiking and a bird you saw from afar lands on you just because you invited it to. All the sudden, that outing becomes the best hike ever, right? When Steve Yalo was out hiking in Olympic National Park a few weeks ago, the best thing happened. A bird landed on the hiker’s arm, and he freaked out, but in the best way. The video is just too funny.

In the video, Yalo holds his arm out and asks, “Do you want to be friends with me?” Then he makes a little “psssst” noise. What happens next practically causes Yalo to hyperventilate with excitement. We don’t blame him; we’re in shock too.
