Now here’s something most of us don’t see every day: Javelinas walking around in the snow. Jeremy Johnson captured footage of a squadron of javelinas in Arizona’s high country, and he notes how their stubby bodies don’t seem to be purpose-built for snowy terrain.

“Arizona high country Javelinas!” wrote Johnson in his Instagram post sharing the footage. “This squadron of Javelinas [was] using the road to navigate because the snow was almost too deep for their stubby legs.”

Johnson notes that javelinas are not wild pigs/hogs. Rather, they’re in the peccary family, and they’re native to the Americas.
The online community is getting a kick out of the video.
“Ohhh! I have never seen them in snow! How adorable to watch them navigate it!” wrote one person in the comments section.
“I never thought they would be in the snow,” added another person.
