A Montana woman was scared for her dogs’ lives (and her own), when a mama moose came way too close for comfort in her Montana backyard. The woman and her three dogs were in the yard when the moose approached. It chased the woman and the dogs around a bit but ultimately left after the woman deployed bear spray.

Footage from the woman’s doorbell camera also shows a second, smaller moose—presumably the larger’s moose’s offspring. NBC Montana says the encounter happened in Big Sky, a community in the Rocky Mountains of southern Montana.Â
