Some visitors to Michigan’s Isle Royale National Park got a shock when a moose stumbled up a hill into their campsite and then stomped through it with an audible huff. Kyrstin Tenjack-Klauck got the moose on video from within a camping shelter.

“What a way to wake!” Tenjack-Klauck wrote in her Instagram caption sharing the video. “Real northern exposure vibes.”
In the video, there’s a rustling sound coming from beyond the edge of a hill. Trees move, and then a large moose emerges. It stands there for a second, makes eye contact with the camera, and then walks/runs through, trampling some vegetation along the way.
