A horse ironically named Frosty fell through the ice on a frozen pond in Ohio, but she survived thanks to a rescue team’s quick thinking. A video of the rescue shows two people suited up on the thin ice, trying to get to the struggling horse. The team is able to pull the horse to shore using a rope, even though the animal appears to be exhausted and unable to help much.

“Watch this quick and efficient rescue by Kidron Volunteer Fire Department personnel of a horse named Frosty (yes it’s true!) who fell through ice on a pond last week. Everyone was OK after the ordeal,” wrote the Dalton Gazette & Kidron News in an Instagram post sharing the footage. “Frosty was cold and tired but able to stand on her own afterward and a veterinarian checked her out.”
