A woman in Topanga, California spotted two rattlesnakes doing a weird “dance,” so she filmed it. In the video, the two snakes make themselves as tall as possible and bump necks. They also wrap parts of their bodies around each other, leading the woman to suspect the snakes might be mating.

“This was very zoomed in,” wrote Janne Robinson in her Instagram post sharing the interesting video. She then states in her caption that the snakes are mating, but, in reality, it’s likely they’re two males fighting for dominance.
