Noel Colon just wanted to get in his car. A New York turkey with a New York attitude thought Colon was going for its babies, though. It singled Colon out as Enemy #1. A viral video from a home-security camera shows the wild turkey as it attacks the man. It leaps at him, beats its wings, and runs after Colon as he desperately tries to get away with his arms full of stuff.

“Turkey attack caught on camera!” wrote NBC6 News in an Instagram post sharing the hilarious video. “A man in Staten Island was chased by a turkey in his driveway in a video-captured encounter, later discovering the turkey was likely protecting a nest of eggs.”

Colon seems to experience shock when he realizes what’s coming after him. He lets a few curse words fly as he manages to keep his body just out of reach from the angry turkey. At one point, he thinks he’s in the clear and starts to open the car door, but nope, the turkey’s still there.
