An incredible viral video shows the moment a baleen whale (it looks like a humpback) lunges for fish at the surface and knocks into a boat, even opening the boat’s door with its massive rostrum. Miraculously, Steven Heid was onboard recording, so he captured the one-in-a-million moment on film.

“Whale jumps through the door and into the boat!” Heid wrote in his Instagram post sharing the video. “Moriches Inlet, Long Island, NY!”
The video has over 10.5 million views so far. Several people in the comments section note that if Heid hadn’t caught this on video, no one would believe that this happened.
