A video from British Columbia, Canada shows what appears to be a bald eagle and a rabbit, and neither of these animals is having a good time. The footage taken by a person inside a moving vehicle shows an eagle flying low along the side of the road, struggling to gain altitude. It has a rabbit in its talons, and the rabbit is not giving up without a fight.

Although fish make up a majority of bald eagles’ diet, these birds of prey are opportunistic carnivores; they’ll eat whatever they can catch. This includes small mammals like rabbits, but the feisty rabbit in this video may have convinced at least one bald eagle that next time, it’ll just stick to fish.
