If you’re not already familiar with this new camping phenomenon, many refer to glamping as a combination of the words “camping and “glamorous.” So, basically it’s going camping with glamour. It’s just like regular camping, but with nicer things than usual, luxury accommodations, and great food. Resort #1: Conestoga Ranch
Location: Garden City, Utah on Bear Lake

Conestoga Ranch lies amongst one of Utah’s favorite playgrounds for summer fun and outdoor recreations, as it sits on beautiful Bear Lake, or often known as, “The Caribbean of the Rockies.” On July 1st they opened their first ever glamping resort with amazing accommodations and live-entertainment. Conestoga Ranch encompasses 18 acres that overlook the sparkling turquoise-blue waters of Bear lake and accommodates up to 160 guests at a time. The guests can choose from glamping tents, authentically styled conestogas, or covered wagons to spend their overnights. What makes this place special is the comfort and luxury instilled in their soft beds and fresh linens that are included in both the tents and wagons. You definitely won’t be waking up to the hot sun seeping through your tent at Conestoga. You’ll be able to wake up peacefully in your cloud of a bed and take a hot shower. Not only can you relax in the hot shower, but located in the timber-framed lodge is the Campfire Grill, which has a carefully curated selection of craft beers and fine wines. YUM. The lodge will also serve breakfast, dinner, and prepare customized picnic baskets for daytime outings.

Adjacent to The Lodge will be the game tent—a kids’ haven with a ping-pong table, arcade games and video games—and activities field. Awesome.
Overview Of Resort Amenities:
Once again we have the game tent, main Lodge with restaurant and bar, shake shack, Bath House (bathrooms, showers, laundry), and activities field. Paddleboards and other water recreation equipment will also be available for rent for a refreshing afternoon. On-site diversions will include live entertainment and rodeos, and a General Store that carries a selection of vacation essentials.
Resort #2: Westgate River Ranch
Location: River Ranch, Florida
Why It’s Unique:
Westgate River Ranch lies on 1,700 acres of Florida’s lush cattle lands and is surrounded by approximately 400,000 acres of state and federally protected wetlands. The Westgate experience focuses on Florida cowboy-themes that shine through in their accommodations ranging from campgrounds to glamping, and traditional camping in two-bedroom cabins. They offer a multitude of recreational activities, including horseback riding, swimming, golf, a petting farm, nature hikes, trap and skeet shooting, hayrides, cookouts and a full-service marina complete with boating and fishing, and last but not least, airboat and swamp buggy rides.
