A paddleboarding adventure in Antarctica became even more memorable for a group of tourists when, suddenly, humpback whales surrounded them. A luxury travel agent named Sky experienced the moment and shared her video on Instagram this past summer.

“POV: you’re going for a paddleboarding adventure in antarctica to look at the glaciers & find yourself surrounded by humpback whales instead,” wrote Sky in her caption.
In the video, Sky says, “I hear a whale. I just heard a whale!” A minute later, she says the whales were everywhere, swimming around and under them, and spouting air through their blow holes as they came to the surface to breathe. Sky says the whales are humpbacks.
