It’s one thing to see animals display cool behaviors when you’re watching National Geographic, but it’s another thing entirely to catch something fantastic on your phone as a regular person doing regular outdoor things. A group of people on a ski trip to Aspen, Colorado had the chance to see a fox diving head first into the snow to capture a meal right outside where they were staying. They were thrilled to see such a spectacle, and now the video is getting a ton of views online.

Diane Stone shared the footage of what appears to be a red fox leaping and diving into packed snow and then coming up with a meal on Instagram. She doesn’t provide much context in the caption, but her hashtags tell a story, suggesting she and her group were on a ski trip to Colorado when they witnessed the scene.
The group’s commentary is just as entertaining as watching the fox do its thing.
