A man spotted a gila monster in Arizona and decided to take a video of it as he described how people shouldn’t mess with these venomous reptiles. Well, this venomous reptile didn’t want to endorse the man’s educational message. In the end, though, the gila monster illustrated the man’s point perfectly. (I have to admit, I’m still laughing about this video.)

Charlie Clark posted the video a few days ago, and it’s cracking a bunch of people up. I won’t ruin exactly what happens, but Clark begins to narrate by describing the damage a gila monster could do if it got ahold of someone, and then the gila monster suddenly decides it has no time for this, startling Clark (and everyone watching). Clark’s reaction is gold.

Commenters add to the fun after watching the funny video.
“You have heard of nope rope, this is a leave it lizzard,” wrote one person.
Clark adds in one comment reply that his main goal was to get the animal out of the road so it didn’t get hit by a car. Even though the gila monster didn’t like being followed and recorded, it ended up in a safer spot than it was when the video started, so mission accomplished.
