‘Bear-ly’ Survived Tahoe: Bear Crashes Lady’s Vacation

Nia Renée Hill was enjoying a cozy morning on the porch of a Lake Tahoe vacation home when, suddenly, she spotted a massive bear. Hill was filming herself at the time, so she ended up recording the moment she saw the bear, grabbed her phone on its stand, and ran inside. The camera is still rolling as Hill then explains to her group that there’s a bear outside, and then she shows the bear.

Thankfully, the bear wasn’t interested in Hill. It lounged around in the sun and looked in her direction as she filmed from the safety of indoors. Lake Tahoe, a large freshwater lake in the Sierra Nevada Mountains near the border of California and Nevada, is black bear country, so even though Hill didn’t expect to see one of these animals right outside her vacation home, she is actually vacationing in the bears’ home.
