A mountain biker visiting Squamish in British Columbia, Canada, got a different kind of thrill when a bear suddenly peeked in the doorway while he sat at the kitchen table. In the footage from justus.brgm, a black bear pokes its in the doorway as the man calls for his roommate.

“Buddy wanted to say good morning,” wrote justus.brgm in his Instagram post sharing the video.

The bear didn’t enter the residence, and the roommate missed the show.
After the bear leaves, justus.brgm says, “oh mein Gott!” (That translates to “Oh my God” in German.)
