A woman leaving an Alaska hospital around 2 in the morning stopped dead in her tracks when she spotted a black bear between her and the exit. Sherri Warnke says she had to slowly back up the way she came. Thankfully, the bear wasn’t interested in her at all. It was more interested in the Halloween candy it found.

Warnke shared photos and videos of the “trick-or-treating bear” on Facebook. She notes in her original post that if she’d been 30 seconds faster in her walk down the hallway, she would have run right into the bear as it entered the building through the automatic doors.
