A showdown between a bald eagle and a great blue heron recently went down at Deer Harbor Marina in Orcas Island, Washington. The skirmish ends in a way that perhaps many people wouldn’t predict.

Referencing the World Cup game that went on the same day, Deer Harbor Marina called it an “all-American showdown.”

“Ironically, while the U.S. was taking on Belgium Monday night, another all-American showdown was happening right here at Deer Harbor Marina,” the marina wrote in an Instagram post sharing the video. “Great Blue Heron: 1, Bald Eagle: 0.”
