James Tyrrell was in a safari vehicle enjoying a wildlife-viewing tour in Africa, when, suddenly, he and the other guests got a two-for-one big-cat special—a leopard AND a lion. The footage doesn’t show the lead up to the event, but it does show a leopard come running across the landscape, followed by a lion. The leopard climbs a tree in record time in its effort to get away from the apparent king of the big cats.

“FAAFO [f**k around and find out]. This was almost the literal definition of curiosity doing what it is proverbially meant to do . . .,” wrote Tyrrell in his Instagram post sharing the exciting footage. In other words, the leopard came a bit too close to fulfilling the saying “curiosity kills the cat.”
