Willow Creek State Recreation Area is a 3,583-acre state park that features 140 different campsites. The campsites do not have RV size limits and it is an ADA facility. There is a camping limit of anywhere from 4 to 15 days depending on what season it is. Toilets as well as water are available on the campsites.

This particular state park is an ideal location for a number of different birds and mammals to live. It is also located in the broad Susitna River Valley. Approximately, 9,000 years ago this state park was covered by huge massive glaciers. The glaciers left the area with hundreds of beautiful lakes and ponds.
