Thirty miles from Denver sits Golden Gate Canyon State Park. Stocked with fishing ponds, places to picnic and views to see. In addition to tent camping, the park also features cabins available to rent. Golden Gate Canyon State Park features 132 campsites in two campgrounds with 38 tent sites and 59 with RV hookups.

Amenities at Golden Gate Canyon State Park

Amenities include a dump station, ice machines, shower, flush toilets, and laundry facilities. The park also offers parking for your horse trailer, stables, a visitor’s center, group picnic area and single sites, as well as an Amphitheater.

Things To Do at Golden Gate Canyon State Park

There are many activities to enjoy including hiking and biking the scenic trials as well as fishing in one of the few stocked ponds. Horseback riding and rock climbing are two other activities that are fun to do while you enjoy the campground. Nice long walks are always something you and your family can do after dinner together.

Backcountry campsite: $10 per night. $12 per night May 1st – Sept. 30th

Electric hook-up campsite: $20 per night. $22 per night May 1st- Sept. 30th
Rifleman Phillips Group Camping: $72/day for the first 24 people, $18.00 for each 1-6 additional people.
Backcountry campsite: $7 per night, $9 per night May 1st- Sept. 30th
Tent campsite: $13 per night, $15 per night May 1st- Sept. 30th
Electric hook-up campsite: $17 per night, $19 per night May 1st- Sept. 30th
