Things To Do in Sherwood Island State Park

Sherwood Island State Park is the perfect location for a mini-vacation with saltwater swimming and fishing, a nature center, and field sports. Fishing is allowed anywhere on the shoreline away from the swimming areas. Sherwood is a Viewpoint Exhibit Host Site. Viewpoints features outdoor exhibits that reproduce works of art that were painted in the 19th Century. Each exhibit provides information about the artist and the location, creating a fun, informative experience for all.

Separate parking fees are in place from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend. Parking fees will be in effect on weekends from April 20 to May 19 and September 7 to 15.
