Imagine one man’s surprise when he was home with his young daughter and, suddenly, a herd of deer came crashing through the front door. The man’s doorbell camera caught the mayhem on video, and now the shocking footage is circulating widely online.

WHP CBS 21 News shared the video on Instagram, saying: “A Pennsylvania dad was shocked when a herd of deer came smashing through his front door.”

The incident occurred in Shippensburg, Pennsylvania, at about 7 AM last Thursday morning. Owen Eichenlaub was inside the home with his six-year-old daughter. According to WHP News, at least five deer burst through Eichenlaub’s front door, causing $10,000-$15,000 in damages. Though neither human inside was hurt, one deer reportedly died.
