This week, a second look at some of the best angling action of the season as the Chasin’ The Sun crew chases migrating tarpon and inshore redfish.
Capt. Justin Leake and local fishing guide Ricky McNaron patrol the tarpon migration route and locate a giant school of the elusive gamefish just a few hundred yards off the sandy beach. When Justin sets the hook on a “silver king,” beachgoers have a front row seat for the spectacular acrobatics.

Later, inshore guide Matt Smith hops on board with Justin for a day battling pre-spawn redfish feeding on crabs. The combination of science, art and luck pay off with one of the biggest redfish the guys have ever landed.
Also this week, we feature the kid-friendly Sea Dragon Pirate Cruise while Capt. Travis Holeman finds a street party at Pier Park and joins the crowd at some of Panama City Beach’s most popular events.
