“Tell me you live in Australia without telling me you live in Australia,” says Robert Irwin in a video he posted to Instagram. “Have a look at the shoe rack.” And there on the shoe rack is, you guessed it, a big snake. The snake comes to rest atop Irwin’s boot before heading in, curling up, and getting cozy inside it. Irwin asks the snake what its plan is, later pointing out that the reptile doesn’t even have any feet.

“This was a fun surprise!” Irwin wrote in his post sharing the funny video, which has more than 435,000 likes. The late crocodile hunter’s son then fishes the snake from his boot before releasing it outside.
