A couple searching for antler sheds ended up exactly where they needed to be at the exact right moment in time. They came across a wild horse in a narrow ditch, and the couple decided to try to rescue it. A woman filmed and provided support as a man used tree branches to break away the dirt that was holding the horse in place.

Once the horse could move more freely in the ditch, the couple did everything they could to encourage the horse to get out. Thankfully, the horse was eventually to get free.

“Our shed hunt turned into a rodeo when my girlfriend and I came upon this wild horse stuck in a ravine!” wrote Dominik Klingler in a social-media post sharing the rescue video. “After 45mins of breaking the wall I was finally able to push the horse out! You never know what you’re gonna find while shed hunting I’m glad god put me in the right place at the right time to save this horse!”
