Everyone in the world with a cat knows the “boop.” Apparently, even big cats like to boop. Vishal Subramanyan, a wildlife photographer and filmmaker, recently shared footage from one of his trail cameras in northern California that shows a mountain lion getting up close and personal with the device. The curious mountain lion walks up to the trail cam and boops it, just like a house cat would.

“A beautiful female mountain lion comes over to investigate my camera,” wrote Subramanyan in an Instagram post sharing the footage. “It’s always a treat to capture them roaming these remote areas in the daytime, free from human disturbance.”
