Daily Outdoor #75 : Hiking & Rock n’ Roll

Welcome to episode #75 of the Daily Outdoor “Hiking & Rock n’ Roll”. It’s hard to believe that it’s been 47 years since Led Zeppelin performed their first concert at the Manchester College of Science & Technology in Northern England. Music is important to our camping experience here at 50 Campfires – and with Led Zeppelin tattoos on both of Clint’s arms, this one touches close to home.

November 17th is National Take A Hike Day, and the guys are encouraging everyone to get outside and enjoy a trail. With winter quickly approaching here in the Upper Midwest, there’s definitely no time like the present to get out for a hike. #NationalTakeAHikeDay.

Minnesota State Parks have announced that they’re opening up for free admission on the day after Thanksgiving, traditionally known as Black Friday. With the average American consuming more than 4,500 calories in a single meal – this seems like a great way to burn off at least some of those calories.

The guys also talk about a new product The Bottle Keeper. This double walled, and neoprene lined beer bottle koozie might just be the best way to keep your beer ice cold while enjoying the outdoors…trust us, it’s science.

This and more, on the 75th episode the 50 Campfires Daily Outdoor.
