A Yellowstone mechanic driving through the park around 3 AM came upon a bison in the middle of the road, so he stopped to give the bison time to get out of the way. The bison had other plans, though. Possibly aggravated by the truck’s headlights, the animal charged, slamming its massive head into the front of the vehicle.

Stephen Borgmier, the driver’s co-worker, shared the video on social media. In his post, he wrote: “The Bison do own the roads in Yellowstone. A friend of mine was between Mud Volcano and Fishing Bridge and he found out the hard way. Watch until the end. He was angry.”
