The Palisades Fire has been burning in Los Angeles, California for a little over 24 hours, and it has already caused massive devastation. As the first half of the day in the Pacific time zone has just about passed, we’re just starting to see visual evidence of what happened overnight in the Pacific Palisades, a coastal community between the Santa Monica Mountains and the Pacific Ocean.

The latest reports say more than 11,000 acres have burned thanks to this wildfire alone. The Eaton Fire is also raging nearby, up toward the Angeles National Forest. Meanwhile, firefighters don’t have water to fight the flames in the Palisades, because they emptied all three massive water tanks trying to douse the fire on Tuesday and into Wednesday morning.
