Of all the places to find a venomous snake, inside your running shoe has got to be one of the most unacceptable. But that’s exactly what happened to a resident of southern California. The man went to put on his running shoes and found a rattlesnake living inside, so he called for help.

Bruce Ireland is the professional “snake wrangler” who answered the call. He posted a video of the angry rattlesnake striking repeatedly at him as he tried to remove it from the man’s neon running shoes.
“Who is ready for a run?” Ireland jokes in his Instagram post.
One commenter wrote: “That’s why you don’t leave your shoes outside . . .”
