It’s illegal to hike the Haiku Stairs on the Hawaiian island of O’ahu. The Honolulu Police Department announced on Thursday that officials arrested two hikers for trespassing on the trail and for “throwing a metal railing over the side of Haiku Stairs.” The hikers were part of a larger group, and the police department expects to continue to arrest more people in conjunction with these offenses.
