Not one, not two, not three, but four mountain lions cruised down a residential street in Murphys, California, and a man’s home-security camera caught them on camera. The group passed through in the early morning hours. They stopped, looked around, and sniffed, but didn’t cause any mischief.

Rick Lyons shared the security footage from the front of his home last month. “A group of mountain lions came-by around 4:30, this morning,” Lyons wrote in his Instagram post. “I’m glad I was inside . . . just a bit intimidating.”
Lyons’ video is a good reminder to keep pets indoors overnight if you live in areas that bump up against wild spaces.
