The Voyageurs Wolf Project is dedicated to better understanding the ecology of wolves in the greater Voyageurs National Park ecosystem of Minnesota. The organization uses trail-cam footage to study wildlife like wolves, bears, and more in the remote wilderness, where humans rarely go. Voyageurs Wolf Project recently shared a video on YouTube that shows a mash-up of 10 months’ worth of footage from their trail cameras, and there are some real treats.

“Highlights from a camera set-up in a remote wilderness for over 10 months!” wrote the organization in its YouTube caption. “The camera captured the typical cast of elusive forest characters including wolves, moose, and bears, and actually had some of the most lynx footage we’ve ever captured on a single camera. And as always, we had a bear make some substantial camera ‘re-adjustments’ for us toward the latter part of the 10 month period . . . how generous!”

Trail-cam footage is great for observing animals in their element.
“I love having a window into the lives of animals—it’s wonderful to see them just ‘living’,” wrote one person in the comments section.
“What an honour to see these beautiful animals in their natural habitat. Thank you!” wrote another.
