Mountain-Lion Cub Rescued as Officials Search for Mom

A young mountain-lion cub, likely less than six months old, stirred up a lot of concern when residents spotted her sitting in the middle of a road in Castaic, California (northern Los Angeles County). The adorable cub put up a fight, but the California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) eventually captured her and began the search for her family.
