New Immersive Park Is Dedicated To Sloths
If you are a fan of sloths, then you are in luck. PEOPLE Magazine shared that there is now a “7,500-square-foot space that will house more than 40 sloths.” Also, it is set to open this February, so get ready.
The new immersive park, called Sloth World, is a hot-button topic right now among animal lovers. Visit Florida shared a press release about the upcoming immersive park. In that release, the outlet shared that Sloth World is “the world’s first and only Slotharium.”
If you choose to visit, you can expect a “guided, small-group experience inside a rainforest-style habitat.” The best part about this experience is that it is unlike anything you have seen before. Not only because it is the first Slothairum, but because the slots live free. When visiting, you will see them living “freely among lush trees, vines, and natural climbing structures.”
What To Expect And How To Go
This immersive park is not like any zoo or animal attraction you have seen before. Gone are the cages and limitations. At Sloth Wold there are “no cages, enclosures, or glass barriers separating guests from the environment,” the press release shared.
Instead, visitors get to watch the sloths interact as they would in their natural habitats. Also, “the open-air setting is built entirely around their [the sloths] comfort.” Besides being an incredibly cool experience, it is educational as well. The press release shared that the “experience is designed around conservation and education.” The aim is to help guests “understand how sloths live, why their natural behaviors matter, and how habitat protection efforts support the species worldwide.”
