Less than a half-hour after triathletes exited the swim portion of last year’s T100 Triathlon World Tour in Vancouver, Canada, orcas took over the course. The throwback video has over 5.5 million views. This year’s event will kick off in a little over a week.

“Well you don’t see this everyday,” wrote the T100 Triathlon World Tour in an Instagram post sharing footage of the orcas. “Almost a little too close for comfort at the Vancouver T100 Triathlon last year when these incredible creatures decided to pay us a visit during the pro races.”
