A viral video on Instagram shows an adorable interaction between two owls.
Wildlife photographer Colton Lockridge filmed two owls that he believes are siblings.
“From what I can gather, they’re play-fighting and preening each other before going out to hunt. If you look closely, they interlock their talons too,” wrote Lockridge in his post.
Lockridge said four young owls were in the area when he filmed the video near his home in Alberta, Canada.
The birds in the video appear to be great horned owls. While the video is cute, horned owls are powerful hunters. They’ve been nicknamed “tiger owls” for a good reason. They feed on rabbits, snakes, and hawks.
