CNN recently shared a video showing police in Alaska releasing a bear that was trapped in a vehicle by pulling the door open with a rope. They got the door open, the bear left and walked away peacefully . . . so, mission accomplished, right? Well, yes, but then there was the aftermath. The condition of the vehicle was not great.

“A bear found itself locked inside a car in Juneau, Alaska, and managed to completely shred the interior before being freed by police,” CNN wrote in its Instagram post sharing the footage.
“Shredded” is an accurate way to describe what’s left of the interior, unfortunately. Many people in the comments section wonder how the vehicle owner’s conversation with the insurance company went after this ordeal.
