Security Camera Captures Trio of Mountain Lions in Shaver Lake

A homeowner’s security camera revealed a trio of mountain lions strolling through a Shaver Lake neighborhood outside of Fresno, California. The mountain lions casually cross the road, stopping periodically to look and listen. Then, they walk off into the snow.

“The Sheriff’s Office encourages you to always be aware of your surroundings,” wrote the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office in an Instagram post sharing the security-camera footage. “And remember, it’s the wildlife’s world too, we’re just sharing it with them.”

“This is awesome and terrifying knowing that I tent camp nearby,” wrote one person in the comments section.
