Peter Strom is a scuba diver from Panama City, Florida who recently had an interesting experience while diving with tiger sharks in the Bahamas. One shark tried to eat his 360° camera, and the camera caught footage of exactly what it’d be like to be eaten alive by a shark. Yikes.

The footage shows a tiger shark approaching the camera, then snatching it up in its teeth and attempting to swallow it. Viewers get a first-hand look at a shark’s insides as the camera continues to roll. After struggling for a few moments, the shark gives up on swallowing the camera and its rigging and spits it out. Meanwhile, the camera is still recording!
“What a crazy experience and epic moment we all got to witness!” wrote Strom in his Instagram Reel sharing the video, which has gone viral.
