A safari group in Tanzania’s Serengeti National Park experienced a surreal moment when a lioness walked in front of their vehicles along with a whole bunch of adorable lion cubs. As they passed, the lions made a bunch of noises that we can all hear at home, thanks to John Mittan’s video.

Mittan is a wildlife photographer and an expedition leader/guide. While guiding in Serengeti National Park for Natural Habitat Adventures, he says his group got to see nine lion cubs trot by their expedition vehicles.
“After the amazing experience of a lion cub calling its mother, she eventually turned up with 9 other siblings and cousins,” Mittan wrote in his Instagram caption. “Then walked straight passed our vehicles with all [cubs in] tow.”
