Tame That Flame With The BBQ Dragon

You’ve probably blown on a fire to get it going at some point, and might have even used a bellows. You knowthat thing you pump open and closed to give the fire more oxygen. They work great, but there is a limit to how long you want to stand and do that. Enter the BBQ Dragon. It’s an electric bellows that can take the reins and allow you to get back to food prep. Let’s take a closer look at the features.

Appearance: I mean, we don’t need our bellows to be sexy, but I have to admit that the BBQ Dragon kind of is. The sleek, brushed steel look is attractive and looks great attached to a grill or fireplace.

Ease of Use: It literally couldn’t be easier to use. Clamp it on and dial the fan to any speed you want.

Durability: When we first took the BBQ Dragon out of the box this was the most noticeable feature. It is well built. The flex neck is firm and doesn’t move after positioning. The clamp is firm, and the rubber prevents it from slipping while in use.

Functionality: The variable speed motor is awesome. You can set it to a low speed to keep a smoker at a specific temperature or a high speed if you want to ready your coals in under ten minutes. We used it in both ways and loved it. Another neat feature is that you can use either standard AA batteries or rechargeable batteries, as there is a mini-USB port built into the handle. Lastly, the flex neck allowed us to use it easily in every single scenario presented.

Value: Currently, there are no other electric bellows on the market that have a clamp. This is what makes the BBQ Dragon unique. You’re able to set it and forget it. If you do a lot of charcoal grilling the $60 price tag is worth it.
