A bull elk feeling plucky didn’t shy away from a tussle with a moving truck in Colorado, and someone was there to catch it on video. The short clip shows an elk standing on the side of the road. The animal didn’t seem to think too long about whether it was going after the vehicle before it was suddenly running into the road. What would you expect to happen in an elk vs. truck showdown?

Good Bull Guided Tours, which offers wildlife photography tours in Rocky Mountain National Park, Estes Park, and the surrounding areas, captured the video and posted it to Instagram in early November. The guides seem to know this bull, since the caption reads: “Back when he was a spicy peanut!”
Spicy peanut, indeed. Commenters notice how muscular this bull elk is, and you can see those muscles ripple as it throws itself at the offensive vehicle.
