WATCH: HISS-terical ‘Passenger’ Wants This Driver to Pull Over

You’ve seen Snakes on a Plane, but here’s one you may not have seen—a snake hitching a ride on the bottom of a car. It doesn’t look like it’s having fun.

In a video shared by Fox News on Instagram, a passenger from one car captures video of an unwilling “passenger” in the vehicle driving next to it—a snake. The caption suggests this is in Alabama, and one commenter says it happened in Opelika.

As the vehicle with the snake drives on the highway, the snake questions all of its life choices. The snake tries multiple times to set its body down as the ground flies by beneath it, but it thinks better of it each time. The bottom part of the snake is either stuck somewhere in the car’s bumper, or it’s using that part of its body to hang on for dear life.

Watch a horrified snake along for a car ride here:

It’s hard to identify the snake as it hangs from the bottom of a moving car, but it might be a gray rat snake, a non-venomous snake found in the area.

According to the Alabama Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, gray rat snakes have “a gray background color with brown to dark gray blotches.” They have white bellies with “boxlike dark gray to brownish blotches and dark spots that become stripes under the tail.”

We don’t know how this story ended, but we hope the snake hung on until it reached its next destination.
