Dogs and cats aren’t the only animals that get the “zoomies.” Wild animals also go through periods of playful craziness, and it’s always fun when someone is there to capture it on video. Estes Park Concierge, a travel concierge in Estes Park, Colorado, frequently shares videos of local wildlife doing local-wildlife things on social media . . . and sometimes that includes elk getting the zoomies in the middle of a lake.

The footage from October has been popular on Instagram and TikTok, and it’s delightful to watch.

“The girls have had a rough few weeks with the stress of the elk rut,” wrote Estes Park Concierge in the TikTok caption. “It was nice to see them enjoying some ‘play time’ in the lake!”
