Here’s something to put a smile on your face today: Some elk frolicking in an Oregon pond. A man nearby filmed the happy scene, even giggling at one point, and sent his footage in to local news to spread the joy. Fox 12 Oregon shared the video on social media.

“Well this isn’t something you see everyday: elk playing in a pond! Thank you to Mark in Beaver, Oregon for sharing this video,” wrote fox12oregon in an Instagram post sharing the footage.

“They are so happy to get sunshine and socialize!” wrote one person in the comments section.
“Oh my goodness that’s so cute,” wrote another.
